The West African Examinations Council has officially released the results of the 2025 Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination for private candidates.
In an update shared on its X handle on Saturday, the examination body announced, “The results of the Computer-based West African Senior School Certificate Examination for Private Candidates, 2025-First Series have been released.”
However, while some candidates have been able to access their results, others have expressed frustration over technical difficulties preventing them from checking their scores.
One affected candidate, Ephrata, shared their experience on X, saying, “I checked mine now they’re saying my card has been used by another candidate. And this my first time of using it. Why is that? I bought scratch card same thing. Please I want you to reply me and tell me what wrong with it, so I can make the next steps.”
Similarly, another X user, endowedToBad, raised concerns about an unresolved issue from the previous examination series, stating, “My student has not been able to check Nov/Dec 2024 result till now.”
Bigname, another candidate, encountered a different challenge while attempting to retrieve their photo card to access their result pin.
They wrote, “Good morning, please I’m trying to re-download my photo card so as to check my result pin but it’s saying that registration is not allowed this period.”
Meanwhile, a user identified as Trillions shared a screenshot of the error message they received while trying to check their result, further highlighting the technical issues faced by some candidates.
As concerns grow over these difficulties, affected candidates are calling on WAEC to address the issues and provide solutions to ensure seamless access to results.
