A disturbing incident at Bells University of Technology, Ota, Ogun State, has gained traction online after reports surfaced about a brutal assault on a female student.
According to an online user, @Ayo Oluwakoya, who shared the story, the attack occurred on March 10, 2025, when the victim, referred to as “Girl X”, was allegedly physically assaulted and beaten until she was bleeding by a male student identified as Tony.
Oluwakoya wrote, “This is about a girl who was physically abused and beaten until she was bleeding on March 10, 2025, by a guy at Bells University of Technology, Ota, Ogun State.”
The post detailed that the attack happened on a field within the university premises, leaving the victim with severe bleeding and significant blood loss.
Regarding the alleged motive, Tony was reportedly angry because the victim had sent a video of him walking with his side girlfriend to his main girlfriend.
“He assaulted her because she sent a video of him walking with his side girlfriend to his main girlfriend, which may have caused issues in his relationship. This was his reason for attacking her, even though she had sent the video a month ago,” the post alleged.
The incident, though yet to be officially confirmed by authorities, has sparked outrage on social media, with many calling for justice.
