President Bola Tinubu is currently presiding over the third Federal Executive Council meeting of his administration.
According to The PUNCH, the meeting is taking place at the Council Chambers of the State House in Abuja.
The meeting commenced promptly at 01:10 pm local time, with a notable attendance of key government officials.
Notable figures present at the gathering include the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume; the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folashade Yemi-Esan; the Chief of Staff to the President, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, and the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu.
However, some key figures are notably absent from this meeting. Vice President Kashim Shettima is currently away in the United States of America, while several ministers, including those responsible for Culture, Art and Creative Economy (Hannatu Musawa) and Tourism (Lola Ade-John), are also not in attendance.
