President Bola Tinubu joined Muslim worshippers at the National Eid Prayer Ground along Airport Road in Abuja on Sunday to observe the Eid-el-Fitr prayers, marking the conclusion of Ramadan.
Arriving shortly before 9 a.m., Tinubu was welcomed by senior government officials, religious leaders, and other dignitaries.
Among those present were Vice President Kashim Shettima, Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, and National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu.
Later in the day, the President will host guests at the State House for an Eid-el-Fitr lunch—the first time he will do so since assuming office.
Previously, he had celebrated the festival at his residence in Ikoyi, Lagos.
