President Bola Tinubu has expressed his condolences to the Ningi Emirate and the Bauchi State government following the death of the Emir of Ningi, Alhaji Yunusa Muhammad Danyaya.
According to a statement released by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, the Emir, a prominent first-class traditional ruler, passed away early Sunday morning.
President Tinubu praised the late Emir as a distinguished leader who dedicated his position and influence to the advancement of his community.
“He was an illustrious leader who deployed the power and resources of his throne in the service of his community,” the President said.
The President also offered prayers for the repose of the Emir’s soul and extended his sympathies to the Emir’s family and all those affected by his passing.
“I pray for the repose of his soul and offer my heartfelt condolences to his family and all who mourn his loss,” Tinubu added.
