The Kano State Police Command has arrested two operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency over the alleged killing of a 19-year-old woman, Patient Samuel, in Jaba Quarters.
Security analyst, Zagazola Makama, disclosed the incident in a post on X on Thursday, revealing that it occurred on Wednesday night at around 10:55 p.m.
“The officers, identified as Nass Ridwan Usman, 23, and Sna Ismaila Yakubu, 26, were attached to the NDLEA’s Kano State headquarters.
“A team of personnel was dispatched to the scene, where the victim was found and immediately evacuated to Abdullahi Wase Teaching Hospital. Unfortunately, she was confirmed dead on arrival.”
During the arrest, law enforcement officers recovered several items from the suspects, including their operational motorcycle, one live round of ammunition, four empty shells of 7.62×51mm ammunition, and two knives.
“An investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting and ensure justice is served.”
