Meghan Markle is set to debut a new podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, in partnership with Lemonada Media.
The series, premiering on April 8, will feature candid conversations with female entrepreneurs who share their journeys—from launching their businesses to selling them—along with the challenges and untold stories behind their success.
According to DailMail, listeners will get an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at the realities of building a business. The podcast also offers a glimpse into Meghan’s own entrepreneurial experiences as she develops her brand, As ever.
“I’m so proud of what we’re creating and the candid conversations I’m able to have with other female founders,” Meghan said in a statement.
“Through my friendships and relationships, we’re able to dive into the type of insights that everyone wants to know as they’re building a business, and that I’m able to tap into as I’m building my own business with As ever.”
The eight-episode series will be Meghan’s first original podcast with Lemonada, a media company founded in 2019 by Jessica Cordova Kramer and Stephanie Wittels Wachs.
The company has produced popular series such as Hard Feelings with Jennette McCurdy and Choice Words with Samantha Bee.
“As female founders ourselves, Steph and I are grateful to get a chance to build alongside Meghan the exact podcast we needed when we started Lemonada,” said Kramer, the company’s CEO and co-founder.
Wittels Wachs, Lemonada’s Chief Creative Officer, praised Meghan’s approach to the series, saying, “Meghan is such a warm and welcoming person, and you feel that in her interviews. She creates a comfortable space for her guests to bring fascinating personal stories to the table and open up in a way they likely haven’t before publicly.”
The project follows Meghan’s previous podcast, Archetypes, which was originally released on Spotify before being distributed by Lemonada across all platforms. It also comes at a busy time for the Duchess of Sussex, who recently launched With Love, Meghan on Netflix.
