The management of Premier League side, Manchester United are exploring ways to terminate the contract of their forward, Cristiano Ronaldo over his recent comments about the club.
It has been reported that the club is not pleased with the Portuguese international after comments he made in an interview with Piers Morgan.
According to Sky Sport, tye club’s management and its Lawyers are looking at how to bring Cristiano Ronaldo’s time at the club to an end following his explosive interview.
The club said it had “initiated appropriate steps” and “will not be making further comment until this process reaches its conclusion”.
It was also reported that the club have not put a time frame on the process but it is thought they want Ronaldo’s exit done “cleanly and quickly” and in as dignified a way as possible.
Ronaldo is currently with the Portuguese National Team in Qatar for the World Cup which starts on Sunday.
