The Lagos State University has launched an innovative application, ‘LASU Talkspace’, to enhance virtual interactions through e-conferences, e-meetings, and e-seminars.
This cutting-edge platform, developed by the university’s Directorate of Information and Communication Technology under the leadership of Prof. Toyin Enikuomehin, is positioned as a reliable and secure alternative to established tools like Zoom, Teams, and Google Meet.
In a statement, the DICT noted, “Approved by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, the LASU Talkspace App is now available for use by the university community and the general public.
“Members of staff can access the platform free of charge, using their official LASU staff email address.
The general public can also utilise the LASU Talkspace App by subscribing to the service and paying the stipulated fee, which varies depending on the category of services required.”
The introduction of LASU Talkspace reflects the university’s dedication to integrating advanced technology and fostering a collaborative environment for both its staff and the broader public.
