The Lagos Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal has dismissed the petitions brought by Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour and the Labour Party, along with Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor of the People’s Democratic Party.
These petitions were challenging the victory of Babajide Sanwo-Olu in the March 18 governorship election.
Jandor, a contestant in the March 18 governorship election in Lagos State, sought to contest the results of the election, specifically challenging the victory of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Dr. Obafemi Hamzat.
The tribunal’s decision was announced by Justice Mikhail Abdullah, who was presiding over the case, during the judgment on the objections raised by the respondents in this legal matter.
