The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria has set the 2025 Hajj fare for intending pilgrims from Jigawa State at N8.4 million.
This was confirmed in a statement issued in Dutse on Friday by the Public Relations Officer of the Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Habibu Babura.
The board announced that all intending pilgrims must finalize their payments by January 30, 2025, to enable the board to transfer funds to NAHCON within the stipulated timeline.
The statement warned, “Pilgrims who fail to complete their payment by the deadline risk losing their opportunity to participate in the pilgrimage.”
According to the board, registration is ongoing at its headquarters and in all 27 local government areas of the state. Prospective pilgrims are required to obtain customized bank tellers at their designated registration centers before making any payments.
“The board remains committed to providing quality services to ensure a seamless and acceptable Hajj experience for all pilgrims from Jigawa,” the statement read.
NAHCON has allocated 1,518 Hajj slots to Jigawa State for the upcoming pilgrimage. The Director General of the Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Ahmad Labbo, urged pilgrims who have made partial payments to complete their balances promptly.
“Intending pilgrims are advised to take advantage of the ongoing registration process to finalize their payments and prepare for a smooth journey to the Holy Land,” Labbo stated.
