Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has promised to embrace a new path following his recent bail.
The Zazu crooner was granted bail by a Magistrate Court in Isabo, Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Thursday after pleading not guilty to a five-count charge, which included conspiracy, assault, unlawful possession of weapons, and unruly conduct.
His bail conditions required him to pay ₦2 million.
Portable was arraigned by the Ogun State police for allegedly attacking three officials from the Ogun Planning and Development Permit Authority.
After regaining his freedom, the singer took to social media to assure his fans that he was done with trouble and would now focus on financial success.
Expressing himself in Yoruba, which was later translated into English, he said, “My fans, thank God for everything. If you have God, you have everything. I need money. I am not looking for trouble anymore. I’m now focused on making money. I have N2 million bail debt. I need more money. I am looking for money.”
