A four-year-old boy on Tuesday called police after his mom committed an ‘unforgivable act’, eating his ice cream in the United States.
Authorities in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina in U S , responded to a 911 hang-up last Tuesday and soon discovered the young caller’s urgent complaint.
“My mommy is being bad,” the boy informed the dispatcher, as heard in a recording obtained by CNN affiliate WTMJ.
Trying to understand the situation, the dispatcher asked, “Okay, what’s going on?”
Without hesitation, the boy replied, “Come and get my mommy.”
At that moment, the accused party intervened, seizing the phone amid her son’s vocal protests.
“Oh, this little one got the phone, and he’s four,” she explained before making a full confession: “I ate his ice cream, so that’s probably why he’s calling 911.”
Despite her admission, her son remained steadfast in his demand for justice. Officers arrived at the scene to ensure there was no deeper concern behind the call.
After confirming that the ice cream theft was indeed the root of the issue, the determined young complainant once again insisted that his mother should be jailed.
However, in a dramatic turn of mercy, he ultimately decided not to press charges, instead expressing his true wish—to get some ice cream.
Two days later, officers revisited the family’s home with a peace offering: two scoops of ice cream topped with blue sprinkles for the young whistleblower.
