The Nigerian Correctional Service has announced the appointment of Ajibogun Olatubosun as the new Controller for the Federal Capital Territory Command.
This development comes as part of a nationwide reshuffling of senior officers within the service, as stated in a press release issued on Wednesday by the Command’s spokesperson, Adamu Duza.
Olatubosun succeeds Controller Usman, who has been reassigned to Maiduguri as the Acting Zonal Coordinator for Zone ‘R’.
At the official handover ceremony held on Tuesday, the outgoing Controller commended the dedication and professionalism of the FCT Command personnel.
He expressed confidence in their ability to excel under the new leadership and pledged his support to ensure a smooth transition.
In his acceptance speech, Olatubosun expressed gratitude for the opportunity to lead the FCT Command.
He acknowledged the contributions of his predecessor and called for continued cooperation to drive the Command’s success.
Olatubosun assured officers of his support and emphasized his commitment to tackling challenges collaboratively while upholding discipline.
He declared a zero-tolerance approach to indiscipline and misconduct within the Command.
Before this appointment, Olatubosun held the position of Controller of Planning, Research, and Statistics at the NCoS Headquarters in Abuja.
