Ayotomide Labinjo, the mother of Anu Adeleke, who is allegedly Davido’s 11-year-old daughter, has finally spoken out amid the viral buzz surrounding her daughter’s recent video.
The video, which surfaced online on Sunday, January 5, showed Anu confidently introducing herself as an Adeleke while expressing gratitude to everyone who made her 11th birthday on January 4, 2024, memorable.
However, her declaration sparked a wave of reactions on social media, with many debating the paternity claims.
The uproar reached Davido’s former lawyer, Prince Bobo Ajudua, who addressed the matter via his Instagram story.
Ajudua refuted the claims, stating that DNA tests had confirmed Anu was not Davido’s child.
He clarified that two tests had been conducted, including one at a hospital chosen by the child’s mother, and maintained that the results ruled out Davido as the father.
In response, Anu’s mother, Ayo Labinjo, denied Ajudua’s assertions, implying that the paternity test results were manipulated after “money changed hands.”
Labinjo, who had been absent from social media since 2013, broke her silence on Monday, January 6, by sharing a cryptic post about resilience.
Reflecting on her journey, she wrote, “All wounds heal one day, Always pick yourself up after setback.”
She also addressed the ongoing controversy, stating, “This week I introduced my daughter Anu Adeleke to Nigerians after a 6-year break. To my shock, I read several blog stories claiming that I had 2 DNA tests to establish her paternity.
“This false information was maliciously spread by his former lawyer Bob Ajuada who was neither present nor employed by Mr. Adeleke at the time in 2014.
“We did not go to two hospitals but a small clinic where my daughter’s blood was drawn in a private room and I watched money change hands in a brown envelope.”
