The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction in the price of Premium Motor Spirit from N990 per litre to N970 per litre.
The announcement was made on Sunday by Anthony Chiejina, the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer of the Dangote Group.
According to Chiejina, the price cut is a gesture of appreciation to Nigerians for their continued support and to acknowledge the government’s role in fostering domestic enterprise.
“As the year draws to a close, this is our way of expressing gratitude to the good people of Nigeria for their unwavering support in making the refinery a reality,” Chiejina said.
“We also thank the government for its efforts in creating an environment conducive to local enterprise, which benefits the collective well-being of our citizens.”
He emphasized the refinery’s commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards for its products, ensuring they are both environmentally friendly and sustainable.
Chiejina also reassured the public about the refinery’s capacity to meet the nation’s fuel demand.
