The Federal High Court in Lagos has directed business mogul Oba Otudeko to take his plea in a case brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
According to The PUNCH, Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke issued the order on Monday during proceedings on the matter.
Otudeko, along with three others, is facing a 13-count charge related to an alleged N30 billion loan fraud.
The EFCC had filed the charges, accusing them of financial misconduct.
During the hearing, Justice Aneke ruled that Otudeko must enter a plea before the court can entertain any application challenging its jurisdiction.
Following the ruling, the judge adjourned the case to May 8 for further proceedings.
