Barcelona’s scheduled LaLiga fixture against Osasuna on Saturday has been postponed due to the passing of the club’s first-team doctor, Carles Miñarro García.
In an official statement, the club expressed their grief, saying, “Barcelona are deeply saddened to announce the passing of first-team doctor Carles Miñarro García this evening.”
As a mark of respect, the match will be rescheduled, with Barcelona confirming, “For this reason, the match against Osasuna has been postponed and will be rearranged for a later date.”
The club extended their sympathies, stating, “The Barcelona board of directors and all staff extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.”
