Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi, has returned to social media after a short absence.
This was revealed in a video shared on Instagram giving his fans and followers a glimpse of what he has been up to in recent times.
Iwobi had deleted all his Instagram post following criticism he received due to his performance at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote D’ivoire.
The 27-year-old was a subject of cyberbullying from Nigerian fans following the Super Eagles’ 2-1 final defeat to the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire.
The Fulham star, however, received support from his teammates, the Nigeria Football Federation and Sports Ministry.
Iwobi, In the video, he also showed a snippet of what appears to be his unreleased rap song.
A number of his teammates including William Troost-Ekong, Frank Onyeka and Kenneth Omeruo took to the comment section to show their support.
The Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, in a post on social media,balso begged Nigerians to stop cyber-bullying Iwobi.
