Real Sociedad forward, Umar Sadiq, has now joined his Super Eagles teammates at their training camp in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, following a delayed arrival.
The 27-year-old forward, who initially missed his Tuesday flight, has completed his journey, rounding off the roster of 23 players invited by interim head coach Augustine Eguavoen.
With Sadiq’s arrival, Coach Eguavoen now has the full complement of his squad as they prepare for their upcoming fixture.
The squad is set to hold an evening training session today, with practice kicking off at 7 p.m. local time in Côte d’Ivoire, 8 p.m. in Nigeria.
This final session is expected to provide an opportunity for the team to refine their strategies and build cohesion ahead of Thursday’s match.
The much-anticipated encounter will be held at Abidjan’s Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 8 p.m.
