Twelve Nigerians, including General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye and former president Goodluck Jonathan, have been recognized among the “100 Most Reputable Africans” for 2023.
The list which was published by Reputation Poll International, a global reputation firm, includes people who work in a variety of fields, including governance and leadership, entertainment, human rights and advocacy, education, and business, among others.
The selection criteria were integrity, visibility, and impact.
Among the Nigerians named in the list are former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan; Human Advocate and Activist, Aisha Yesufu; Director Legal and Consular, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Akinremi Bolaji; Cosmas Maduka, Founder and Chairman of the Coscharis Group; and Dauda Lawal, Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Credent Capital and Advisory.
Others include Founder and General Overseer of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo; General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye; Managing Partner, Miyetti Law Firm, Dr. Jennifer Douglas; Founder and General Overseer, Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Pastor Paul Enenche; Executive Director of Multiple Concepts Groups, Theresa Ayoade; Tijjani Muhammad-Bande, Permanent Representative of Nigeria to the United Nations; and Pastor Williams Kumuyi, General Overseer of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry.
In addition to the people honored for their numerous accomplishments on RPI’s “100 Most Reputable Africans” list, there are others who are honored for their contributions to social impact and social entrepreneurship, changing the way businesses operate in Africa and having a positive impact on lives without stirring up controversy.
Co-Chairperson of the Review and Audit Committee, Chair Emeritus of the World Bank Group-IMF African Society, and President of Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals International,Ms. Beldina Auma, stated during the announcement of the list that the organization is committed to honoring individuals, organizations, and companies that consistently improve lives in Africa and around the world.
