A Nollywood star, Ronke Oshodi Oke has gone to social media to announce an alleged attempt to poison her daughter at school.
The mother of two, in a video on her Instagram page, explained that she was called in the wee hours of the morning to report that her daughter in the university drank hypo but survived after a series of medical efforts.
She feared that her daughter’s roommate or friends may have deliberately poured the liquid into the water which she drank.
She called on the school authority not to allow such to recur as she has deliberately refused to mention the name of the school and would not take it likely next time.
According to her, “My daughter is in university now. About three weeks ago, they called me around 3:45 am to say that my daughter Jummy drank hypo. I was like hypo? How will my daughter drink hypo?
“I went to the hospital she was in. She was crying. She wasn’t herself.
“What happened is that maybe her roommate or her friends deliberately poured hypo into the water that she drank. They wanted to kill her.
“I am warning the school for the last time. If anything like this happens to my daughter again – I only gave birth to two children – I won’t take it likely.”
