Abia Comets names Nnoromi sporting director

Abia Comets have named Kelechi Orji Nnoromi the new Sporting Director of the Nigeria National League side in the state.

The Nnoromi is an experienced football administrator who was a Nationwide League delegate to the United Kingdom on a study tour of United Kingdom football clubs in 2020.

He has been assigned to use his wealth of experience to reposition the club towards a more professional side.

According to reports, his appointment is a part of the sports restructuring that the recently elected Abia State government is carrying out.

The Abia Comets failed to qualify for the NNL Super Eight promotion playoffs in Asaba.
