The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress Joe Ajaero, was reportedly arrested by operatives of the Department of State Services on Monday morning at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
According to The PUNCH, Ajaero was on his way to the United Kingdom for an official engagement when the arrest took place.
He was set to attend the Trade Union Congress conference in London, scheduled to begin today.
