Iran-backed groups from Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and Syria have already become involved in the nearly 10-month conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.
On Saturday, Israel engaged in another round of fire with Hezbollah, conducted a deadly raid in the occupied West Bank, and launched an attack on a school compound in Gaza City.
According to the civil defense agency in the Hamas-ruled territory, this strike killed at least 17 people.
Numerous schools converted into displacement shelters in Gaza have been targeted in recent weeks, with Israel asserting that these facilities were used by militants.
