Gunmen have killed a female student of College of Education, Billiri in Gombe, Yosi Yusuf, in the early hours of Sunday.
The Gombe State Police Command Spokesperson, ASP Mahid Abubakar, confirmed the incident, noting that an investigation is already underway with a view to arresting the assailants.
This incident occured barely 48 hours after the gruesome murder of 58-year-old woman, Aishatu Abdullahi, a mother of 8 children.
The gumen attacked the victim in the early hours of Sunday at Zazzagawa quarters, in Billiri where the late Yusuf resided as an off-campus student.
Yusuf a third-year student of National Certificate in Education and hailed from Baganje Town in Billiri Local Government Area of the state.
The body of the deceased has been deposited in the mortuary of the Billiri General Hospital pending when the police complete discreet investigation into the incident.
