The 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup Co-hosts by Australia and New Zealand came to an end on Sunday after Spain’s thrashed England 1-0 to win the tournament.
Olga Carmona’s strike in the 29th minute of the game handed La Roja their first-ever Women’s World Cup title.
With the win, the team completed the Women’s World Cup treble, winning the U-17, 2018, 2022, U-20, 2022, and National Team, 2023.
In the tournament that started on July 20 and came to an end on August 20, had 63
matches played and 163 goals scored, that is, 2.59 per match.
The tournament had a tremendous attendance of 1,978,274, that was equivalent of 31,401 per match.
The Japanese midfielder, Hinata Miyazawa, was the top scorer with five goals.
