The State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education for Yobe State has announced an 18-day break for all state-run institutions ahead of the upcoming general elections.
According to DAILY POST, this information was provided in a letter sent by the Director of Schools Management, Bukar Modu, in which it was also stated that the holiday would allow students and instructors to exercise their civic rights during the upcoming elections.
The letter, titled “Approved Yobe State School Calendar for 2022-2023 Academic Session,” specifies that the 18 Days break would take place from February 23 through March 13, 2023.
