The Federal Civil Service Commission will begin promotional examinations for junior officers in the civil service will begin on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.
This was disclosed in a circular released by the Federation’s Office of the Head of Civil Service and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Career Management Office, on Tuesday.
The PUNCH earlier reported that the examination was slated to have been held between Tuesday, August 2, and Friday, August 5, 2022, across the federation.
An earlier circular also noted the need for the payment of a non-refundable examination fee of 3,000 per candidate was approved by the public service examination board
But a new circular noted the postponement of the exam. The circular with reference number HCSF/CMO/MP/782/T3 partly reads, “Postponement of the conduct of 2022 combined confirmation and promotion of Grade Level 2 to 6 junior officers.
“This is to inform you that the conduct of the 2022 Combined Confirmation/Promotion Examination, which was originally scheduled to hold from Tuesday 2nd August to Friday 5th August 2022, has been postponed.
“The examination has now been rescheduled as follows: a. Deadline for registration/closure of Portal: 19 August 2022 b. Date of examination: Tuesday 13°” to Friday 16′ September 2022.
“Please note that the contents of the earlier Call Circular dated 15 April, 2022 are still valid except for the change of date in paragraph two (2) above.
“All inconveniences caused by this development are regretted, please.”
